About Me

My name is Carys Elen Walsh, and I'm an artist/illustrator.
I completed my third year of university in 2021, studying Illustration at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in Swansea, Wales. 
Before entering University, I had an interest in costume design, prompted by films such as Lord of the Rings, but while studying at UWTSD, my eye was drawn to book illustration.
In September 2023, I started a Primary PGCE after having worked in a school for 2 years.

Although my career path is shifting, I shall not be neglecting my illustration work, in fact, I believe the challenge will fuel my creativity even more.
